Romans
12:1,2
1. Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to
offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to
God--this is your spiritual act of worship.
2. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but
be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be
able to test and approve what God's will is--his good,
pleasing and perfect will.
Psalms
1
1. Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the
wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of
mockers.
2. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law
he meditates day and night.
3. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields
its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever
he does prospers.
4. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows
away.
5. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor
sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6. For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the
way of the wicked will perish.
Colossians
3:16
16.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and
admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms,
hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to
God.
1
Timothy 4:6,7
6.
If you point these things out to the brothers, you will be a
good minister of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the
faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.
7. Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales;
rather, train yourself to be godly.
2
Timothy 3:16,17
16.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching,
rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
17. so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for
every good work.
