Prayer Time: 5:00pm Sunday evening. You're invited as we meet in the Conference Room to share praises and concerns for our Church, missions and country.
Evening Bible Study: 6:00pm Come join us as Scott McDonald leads us is the study of God's Word. We meet in the Fellowship Hall for Bible study, hymn singing and refreshments.

Mission Moments

Bobby & Melissa Ulrich are missionaries with Campus Crusade for Christ at Washington State University. They have a thriving ministry throughout campus. Bobby writes: "As the year winds down for Melissa and me at WSU, we can't help but be amazed at what God has done in students lives. We, and the students we work with, have seen students accept Christ as their personal Savior. While reaching out to others, those students have been growing tremendously in their faith and taking bold faith steps. We have been preparing our current senior class to be launched into the world as ambassadors for Christ, whether in the work force or full-time ministry. Currently, we are getting ready to leave for California to pour into college students lives for the summer and we are keeping busy chasing our year old Jacob who loves to walk by himself and read The Very Hungry Caterpillar."

Surprised by GOD! After 30 years with Campus Crusade for Christ, Dave and Becky Fischer are moving in a new direction. Dave has felt God's gentle hand moving him toward a more pastoral role. When Dave shared this with his pastor, he was surprised to hear that his pastor had made a request that very day to his church asking them to bring Dave on the church staff as a full-time pastor. Becky has a strong leading to pursue further education. Both are very thankful to their friends at Berean for their long-time support and look forward to visiting our church in the near future. Pray for success in their new calling.

Girl Talk: We'll meet each Thursday from 6 - 7:30pm in the gym 'Ranch Room'. Bring friends! For information, call Liz Gass, 863 5077.

AWANA: Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T (K - 6th grade) We meet on Wednesdays from 6 - 8pm. Registration will be September 12th from 6 - 7pm.

Journey for High Schoolers and Trek for Junior High meets each Tuesday, 6:30 - 8:30pm. Bring some friends. We're learning about Christian Worldview this semester.

Summer Camps: Junior Camp July 20-25 and Junior/Senior high Camp July 27-August 1.

Grub Camp: For high schoolers! May 17-18 at Farragut State Park. More info soon.

Coming Soon: Jerry Horgan Memorial 9 Hole Golf Tournament will be on Sunday June 29th at 1pm. Sign ups coming soon.

May Community Hymn Sing will be hosted by Emmanuel Presbyterian Church on Sunday, May 18th at 3pm. For information call 326--1252.

Christ Clinic is having a Ground Breaking Celebration on Tuesday, May 6th at 11am. They will be at 2410 N. Monroe. You are invited to come and share in the celebration of an expansion of God's vision of healing and hope for our community.

New Beth Moore Bible Study for the Summer: Stepping up: A Journey Through The Psalms of Ascent begins on June 24 - August 5 (7 weeks) at Berean. Join us at 9:30am or 6pm each Tuesday. MOPS Garage Sale: Do you have items you would like to donate to the MOPS Garage Sale? We are looking for donations and have a storage unit ready to accept your items. Contact Blair Blycker with questions- 922--3261.

Union Gospel Summer Camp: Tshimakain Creek Camp is a summer camp run by UGM. There is a list of itmes needed for the low income children that attend the camp on the bulletin board and a basket is in the foyer for your donations. If you can donate any of these items, please have them in by May 18. Also, some Berean women are sewing an easy project for these children. Call Bobbi Cliff at 924--6264 if you would like to paticipate.

Prayer Chain: If you would like to join our Church Prayer Chain to pray for those in our Church body, call Lucinda Sporleder 927--2442 with your e-mail address.

CA Baptist University School of Music's Male Chorale: Monday, may 12, 7pm at Dishman Baptist Church. Come hear this 70 member choir perform. Admission is free with a love offering taken after the concert.

Men's Wednesday Morning Bible Study and breakfast at 6:30am. Bring a friend and your appetite for The WORD.

The AWANA Fair is coming and we are looking for donations. The fair is a great opportunity for us to reach unchurched kids and encourage them to come to AWANA and learn about Jesus. It is also a time to reward those kids who have been working so hard to memorize God's Word. If have any like-new toys/items you can donate or if you would like to purchase something please contact Pam M. 921--8973 or Pastor Mike. We need your help to make this a great event for the kids.

Family Camp is scheduled for August 4th thru 9th at Little Diamond Lake Resort in Newport WA. Come all the days or just the weekend. There are four cabins available but they need to be reserved immediately. Questions? Call Rob or Mary Lou Peck at 927--1055.
